Office cleaning for Vermont workplaces

Office cleaning is the recurring clean that keeps a workplace presentable for the people who work there and the clients who walk in. Simply Keeping cleans offices across Vermont — workspaces, restrooms, break rooms and the common areas in between.

What does office cleaning include

Office cleaning covers the parts of a workplace that get used every day and show it first: the floors people walk on, the restrooms clients see, the break room nobody wants to be the one to clean, and the desks and shared surfaces that collect a week's worth of hands.

The exact list is yours, not ours. We walk the office with you, write down what gets done on each visit, and work to that. Nothing on this page is a package you have to buy whole.

What we clean in an office

  • Workstations, desks, tables and shared counters wiped down and reset
  • Restrooms cleaned — fixtures, mirrors, floors and touch points
  • Break room and kitchenette surfaces, sinks, appliance fronts and tables
  • Floors vacuumed and mopped, including entryways, walk-off mats and corridors
  • Trash and recycling emptied and taken to your collection point
  • Glass doors, partitions and interior windows kept free of marks and handprints

How often should an office be cleaned

How often an office needs cleaning tracks headcount and foot traffic, not floor area. An office where four people work quietly and nobody visits can run on a weekly clean. An office where clients come and go all day, or where the whole team eats lunch at their desks, will show it by Wednesday.

The other half of the question is when. Some offices want the work done after everyone has left so the building is fresh in the morning. Others prefer a mid-day visit so someone is around. Both work. We set the window with you before the first clean, and we keep to it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you clean after hours

Yes — evening and early-morning cleaning is normal in this work and most offices prefer it. The visit window is agreed at the walkthrough and written into the scope, along with how we get in and out of the building. If your office would rather have us there during the day, that works too.

Do you clean office kitchens and break rooms

Break rooms and kitchenettes are part of a standard office clean. That covers counters, sinks, tables, chairs, the outside of the fridge and microwave, and the floor. It does not include clearing out personal food or cleaning the inside of a fridge unless that is agreed in advance and written into the scope.

Do you clean interior glass and partitions

Interior glass, glass doors and partitions are cleaned as part of a standard office visit — they are the surfaces that show handprints first and the ones a visitor notices. Exterior window washing above ground level is a different trade and is not part of a standard office clean.

Can you clean a small office

Yes. A two-room office with one restroom is a normal job, not too small to quote. Simply Keeping is a small business itself and works with businesses of the same size across Vermont. The walkthrough takes about as long as the office is big.
